The Brow Lowdown

Strong, thick eyebrows are everywhere and if you aren’t a fan of the over-drawn, the uber-defined or the infamous faded “Instagram-Brow,” then read on. A soft, feathered brow is key to making your arches look fuller and more natural, helping you look younger. If you were too friendly with your tweezers in the ’90s, allow your brows to grow in for eight weeks before consulting with a brow expert. During this time, you can use a growth serum - or my personal favorite - castor oil, with a drop rubbed into each brow nightly. In the meantime, and beyond when your brows are grown out to their new potential, use a brow pencil to fill in sparse areas, stroking up and out to mimic where the hairs should be. Finish off with a brow gel to brush the front of the brow upwards, the middle of the brow back down and the ends outwards.
